Why I would like to meet Stephen Perry: It's hard to put into words actually, I have been where he has been. Seems we have both loved, lost and survived. Loosing a beloved mother but having to wait to grieve, having to give up something truly loved because we were forced to, finding out no matter how hard we try we can't please every one, love to give, tbut have been burned by being taken advantage of. Why would I like to meet Stephen Ray Perry, because we can relate, share and understand where the other has been and because he seems to be a real nice human being.

On any given day when it is all said and done I am hopeful to be able to connect with someone. Connect in voice is fine, connect in person is better. For now I will have to settle for the voice of a true good heart.

I have no idea if Steve Perry will ever read this, but it comes from the SF Bay Area and from a person with a kind, yet well-hidden and misunderstood heart. My only message is that I have wanted to meet Steve Perry and Journey since they visited my High School in the late 1970's. As I grew older my musical tastes vary, but I have always found a sort of healing quality to Mr. Perry's voice. The only reason I would want to meet him is to say "hello," and perhaps attempt to make him laugh. I like seeing people laugh. But, I am much older now, my life is taking on strange new turns. Before we both leave this earth I will remain hopeful that one day I can share with Mr. Perry what his voice means to me, especially now that I am losing someone very dear. All the best, C
